RECHEL & ASSOCIATES P.A. was founded on February 1, 1992. Divorce attorneys Theodore Rechel, Jennifer L. Todd and Deborah Schmitt have helped thousands of Tampa Bay families resolve their family law issues, utilizing tools such as litigation, appeals, mediation, and collaborative divorce.

At Rechel & Associates we strive to be the best family lawyers in Tampa. Our areas of practice include parenting plans and timesharing (formerly called custody and visitation), child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, paternity, modification and enforcement, and appeals of family law cases. 

Mr. Rechel practices exclusively in the area of divorce and family law and has over 25 years of experience. He is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Tampa. 

Ms. Todd was admitted to practice in 2006 and has exclusively worked in the area of divorce and family law. She is a Guardian Ad Litem and a member of the collaborative family law group, Next Generation Divorce.

Ms. Schmitt was admitted to practice in 1993 and has been practicing marital and family law since 2000.
